Filo is made by Alessandro Monti, in Italy. By using Filo you accept these terms and Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement.

What Filo is, and what it isn’t

Filo is a journal. It is not a medical device, not therapy and not an emergency service. If you are in danger or thinking of hurting yourself, call 112 (or your local emergency number). In Italy you can also call Telefono Amico on 02 2327 2327.

The AI

Filo writes in pencil: drafts for you to read. It can get things wrong. What stays on your page is your choice; you can change or remove any line.

Your pages

What you write is yours. It stays on your iPhone, and in iCloud if you turn it on. Keep a backup: you can export everything at any time in Tu › Esporta.

The subscription

• 14 days free with all of Filo, once per Apple Account.
• Then €34.99 a year or €5.99 a month (or the price shown in your country), paid through your Apple Account.
• It renews automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the period. Manage or cancel it in Settings › your name › Subscriptions.
• Refunds are handled by Apple.
• Without a subscription you can always read and export your pages, and use Help and Breathe.

Fair use

Don’t use Filo to break the law, to harm others, or to attack or copy the service.

Responsibility

We work to keep Filo running and your data safe, but we can’t promise it will never fail. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses. Nothing here limits the rights you have as a consumer.

Law

These terms are governed by Italian law, without taking away the protection of the law of the country where you live as a consumer.
